February 3, 2018
The 12th Annual Ethnic Heritage Festival, hosted by the Grand Rapids Public Museum, is a celebration of the history, culture and impact Newcomers have made on the West Michigan community. This daylong event showcases music, dance, crafts and food represented by the various ethnic groups active in West Michigan. Celebrate the cultural traditions that shaped the rich and vibrant community we share today.
Spend time in two of the Museum’s exhibitions, Newcomers: People of This Place which highlights the ethnic groups that have settled the Grand Rapids area and Anishinabek: People of This Place which focuses the Native American culture and history in the region.
GR Scottish Society will have a booth here. Please stop by and see us. Great family event!.
Once again, the GRSS will be buying toys to donate to the 2017 Angel Tree program. Members are also encouraged to bring toys to donate.
